Earn $249 for every business you refer.
Have a website, an audience, or a network of local business owners? Share your link or QR code. When a business you refer becomes a Brattleboro Local client, you earn a flat $249 - every time. No selling, no client management - just share and get paid.
The simplest way to earn with us
$249 on every client
A flat $249 one-time commission for each business you refer that becomes a client - paid on money actually collected.
Share a link, that's it
Get a unique link and QR code (customizable, like /aff/yourname). Put it on your site, socials, or hand it out. We do the rest.
No selling, no servicing
You don't pitch, quote, or manage anyone. We close, build, and take care of the client. You just open the door.
Track it in your dashboard
Once approved, you get a login to watch your referrals and earnings, and request payouts. 1099 - you set your own terms.
What it can add up to
Every referral that becomes a client pays you a flat $249. Ten referred clients is $2,490; twenty-five is $6,225 - for sharing a link.
Illustrative only - not a guarantee. Actual earnings depend on how many of your referrals become clients.
How it works
- Apply & get approved. Fill out the form below; we review and approve affiliates quickly.
- Get your link & QR. A unique, customizable referral link and QR code appear in your dashboard the moment you're approved.
- Share it. On your website, social posts, email, or in person - anywhere you reach local business owners.
- Get paid. When a business you referred becomes a client, you earn a flat $249. Once it clears our refund window, it's yours to withdraw.

Who actually does well at this
The affiliates who earn steadily are not the ones with the biggest audience. They are the ones who already get asked. If people in southern Vermont ask you who to call for a website, you are most of the way there, and the referral is a favor rather than a pitch.
Bookkeepers and accountants. You see the whole picture: which clients are spending on ads that land on a bad site, which ones are paying a monthly bill to a developer nobody has heard from in two years. A website comes up naturally in that conversation.
Photographers, sign makers and printers. If someone commissions new brand photography or a new sign, they are already thinking about how they present themselves. The website is usually the next thing they mention, and it is usually the weakest link.
Business coaches, consultants and chamber people. You are asked for recommendations constantly, and your reputation is the thing at stake. That is exactly why the published price matters: you can point at the Brattleboro pricing page and let it speak, with nothing to walk back later.
Other trades. An electrician who did a good job for a plumber gets asked about everything else, web design included. Referrals travel sideways between trades more than they travel down from advertising.
What these have in common is trust that already exists. We are not asking you to build an audience or run ads. If you never send anyone, nothing happens and nothing is owed. If you send one business a year and it works out, that is a few hundred dollars for a sentence you were going to say anyway.
What we will and will not do
We will not chase your referral. When someone arrives through your link they get the same experience as anyone else: a published price, a form, and an answer from a real person. No sales sequence, no follow-up calls, no pressure. If they decide it is not for them, that is the end of it, and you have not spent your reputation.
We will tell them when it is not a fit. If someone comes to us needing a full e-commerce build, a booking system tied to their existing software, or something else we genuinely are not the right answer for, we say so. You will occasionally send someone we turn away. We would rather that than have you send a second person who heard about the first.
We will not make you a salesperson. There is no script, no quota, no dashboard you have to log into weekly, and no branded content to post. Share a link when it is relevant. That is the entire job.
We pay on money actually collected. Commission is paid once the client has paid, not on signup, because paying out on a signup that later refunds means clawing it back from you later. One clean payment after the money clears.
We will keep the price public. The reason this program works for people whose reputation matters is that nothing is hidden. There is no special affiliate rate and no quiet markup on referred clients, so the person you sent pays exactly what the pricing page said they would.
Other ways in
Not here to be an affiliate? The thing you would be referring people to is published pricing - $749 to start, $179 a month, everything included - and you can sign up without talking to anyone, or start with a free website audit.
Affiliate FAQ
You earn a flat $249 one-time commission for every business you refer that becomes a paying client - whether they join the $179/month Website-as-a-Service subscription or commission a custom project. One referral, one number, no math. It's paid on money actually collected, and there's no cap on how many businesses you can refer.
Once a referral's first payment clears our refund window, your commission becomes available. We pay out by your chosen method (ACH, PayPal, or check) once your balance reaches a $50 minimum. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year, we'll issue a 1099.
When you're approved you get a unique referral link and QR code (you can even customize it, e.g. brattleborolocal.com/aff/yourname). Anyone who opens it and later becomes a client is automatically credited to you - and you can watch your referrals and earnings in your affiliate dashboard.
Anyone with a website, audience, email list, or local network - agencies and freelancers, bloggers, consultants, chambers and associations, or simply well-connected locals who know business owners who need a better website.
Apply with the short form on this page. We review and approve affiliates, then your link, QR code, and dashboard are ready to go.
No. Most of our affiliates share a link by text or email when a conversation comes up. There is no minimum audience, no content requirement, and nothing to publish. If you would rather have something to hand over, we can give you a short link and a QR code you can put on a card.
Attribution goes to the first referrer we have on record. If someone had already contacted us directly before you sent them, the commission does not apply, and we will tell you that plainly rather than let you wonder. In practice this is rare, and when it is genuinely ambiguous we resolve it in the affiliate's favor.
No cap. The commission is the same on the first referral and the tenth. There is no tier system to climb and no volume bonus to chase, partly because tiered programs quietly push people into recommending things they do not believe in.
Commission is paid on collected funds, so once a payment has cleared and the commission has been paid, it is yours. If a client cancels in the first days before anything is collected, no commission is due. We do not claw back paid commissions.
Yes, and it is genuinely better for you if you do. Telling someone you get a referral fee costs you nothing when the price is public and you believe in the recommendation, and it protects the relationship if they find out later. It is also what the FTC expects.
Yes. Most of our work is local, but the websites we build are not geographically limited, and we have clients outside the immediate area. If you know a small business anywhere that needs a real site rather than a template, the referral counts the same.
It varies more than you would think. Some businesses sign up the day they see the pricing page because they have been putting it off for a year and the decision was already made. Others take three or four months, because a website is the kind of thing that gets postponed until something forces it - a bad season, a competitor showing up higher in search, or a customer mentioning they could not find them. The link keeps working either way, so a conversation you had in March can still pay out in July.
Yes, ask us any time and we will tell you where things stand. There is no dashboard to log into, mostly because a dashboard showing zero for three months is discouraging and tells you nothing useful. If you want to know whether someone came through, send a message and you will get a straight answer from a person rather than a report.
